Description
Following the decision to pursue my student internship through a promotional opportunity, the task at hand involved developing an embedded system for industrial automation. The primary objective was to construct a streamlined Linux distribution utilizing the Yocto Project framework. My distribution, named GolemOS, was built upon the reference distribution of Poky. Throughout the course of this project, I acquired substantial knowledge concerning the initialization processes system, specifically systemd. Furthermore, I gained proficiency in configuring a hotspot, setting up a web server using nginx, and creating websites with Flask. To enhance the functionality of the system, numerous Python scripts were implemented.
